The outer pipe shades at some point were cut off. Here, a new piece of wood has been glued to one of the carvings
and the design of the new section of the carving has been glued to the blank. The elements in the
new section were inspired by the rest of the carvings, and by the carvings in the 1802 David Tannenberg organ
in Madison, Virginia.
